The smallest Wilder Kaiser village still has its distinctive village charm. Lying at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser, the mountain gives Scheffau strength and support. The water winds its way through rocks and forest to make its invigorating appearance into the village below.
Summer Holiday
Situated directly on the south west side of the mighty Wilder Kaiser, Scheffau is a popular starting point for hikes into the natural conservation area of the Kaiser mountains. Mountaineers and climbers also find this an ideal starting point for a tour, no other village being so near to the peaks.
